Annual Training Week
Great excitement was had as the whole Bush Ways team gathered for our annual training week. This is the time of the year where we welcome new Field staff members to the team and have a great week of orientation where they get to know our management team, all the new staff and learn the Bush Ways standards that are expected.

Nxai Pans
Last month I had the chance to spend a few days in Nxai Pan. February is one of my favourite times to visit as the summer rains bring a flush of nutrient-rich grasses, driving one of the biggest migrations in Botswana. The Migration of Thousands: Zebras at Nxai Pan The highlight at this time of year is the thousands of zebras that migrate into the area to feed on fresh grasses. This abundant food provides a vital energy boost for producing milk for their newborn foals, and the chance to fatten up for the leaner dry season that will soon follow.

Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Every year for the last 6 years a group of friends, Carol and I have gone camping in Central Kalahari Game Reserve just after Xmas.

Liuwa Plains, Zambia
Recently Marc and Heiko, our directors, visited Liuwa Plains National Park in Western Zambia to witness the annual wildebeest migration. The best time to visit is in November, just before the rainy season starts to fill the vaste grass plains with water rendering access impossible.

It has arrived!
Yes, it has finally arrived and has started its first safari this week! We are very excited to present to you our latest edition to the Bush Ways Safaris Fleet – The Accommodated Safari Vehicle.

About Elephant
Many years ago elephants did not have trunks. The baby elephant was known as a curious creature, his questions used to get him into a lot of trouble. He asked many animals what the crocodile eats for dinner. When no one could tell him he decided to search for a crocodile and find out for himself.

About Warthog
Warthog had made himself a lovely spacious home with a wide doorway out of an old termite mound, he believed his home was the most magnificent home in all of Africa.
