BUSH WAYS TOUR LEADERS Our guides are all qualified Botswana Professional Safari Guides who have an intimate knowledge and understanding of their environment with many years of experience guiding in Northern Botswana and for Bush Ways, and passionately love their country and culture.

OUR CAMP CHEFS AND CAMP ASSISTANTS All our camp chefs and assistants are highly trained and experienced. They take pride in providing the most comfortable safari experience and are keen to share their passion for Africa’s fauna and flora.

LANGUAGES All Bush Ways safaris are guided in English. On selected dates, we offer the services of French- or German- speaking translators.

Background I have been with Bush Ways for 17 years! I started as a Camp chef. But I was also passionate about nature and the wilderness. Inspired by other guides, I studied and trained to become a safari guide.

Favourite animal Wild dog: I love their social structure, it’s amazing how they support each other. For instance if one is ill or weak the rest of the pack nurse it back to health.

Background I have been a guide for 25 years. At first I did a trial run to get a feel of it, then I fell in love with guiding. So I studied and passed my guides examination at Botswana Wildlife Training Institute.

Favourite location Central Kalahari Game Reserve, I love it unique landscape.

Favourite time of the year November to August, I love the sightings during this time.

Favourite animal Honey badger, I think it stands out from the rest in a special way.

Background My birthplace was in an environment where there were many wild animals. I grew a liking to them. I Studied in Botswana and Zimbabwe for Walking Trails and I am now guiding for 20 years.

Favourite location All arrears honestly, it just depends on the season and what wildlife id be looking for.

Background I have been guiding for 17 years now. I have always had love and passion for wildlife. Growing up I used to see the migration in the Makgadikgadi Pans, near my home village. The national service which I did with the Department of Wildlife and National Parks was my eye opener.

Favourite animal Leopard, very elusive, secretive and beautiful.

Favourite location Makgadikgadi Salt Pans and Kgalagadi because of their unique open spaces.

Background I have always had a passion for cooking as well as travelling.
